About Us

I'm Heather - a new mom that's finishing up medical school and figuring out how to balance it all while enjoying the little moments.  This blog is a way for us to document all those moments like the funny things our kids will do, the crazy vacations we'll take, and the hobbies Kael and I have like cooking, photography, music, hiking, camping, or whatever else we can think of.

Kael is my partner-in-crime, my best friend, my motivation.  He's an amazing musician, writing for commercials during the day and for our band at night.

The newest addition to the Alden crew is Sam.  He is a happy and adventurous little baby with a crazy amount of hair and we love him to death.

 
We can't leave out Patches and Marley.  Patches is our moody fat cat that will MAKE you cuddle with him.  Marley is crazy lovable but can't stop eating things (balloon strings, plants, plastic twist ties) that make him sick...and spit up.
